QuakeDC

This is an edited version of the QuakeDC engine. The changes in it are:

  • It doesn't overwrite any setting when it boots, allowing the use of pre-defined configurations for the DC controller in any Quake modification.

  • The "cd_enable" is on by default.

  • It doesn't display the "meshing model.mdl..." messages.

  • The "Press Y to quit" message in the engine Quit menu was changed to "Press start", because QuakeDC freezes if you try to quit.

Please note that this zip contains only the file MIDWAY_1.EXE. If you don't have the other files, download QuakeDC from DCEmu's QuakeDev, then replace its MIDWAY_1.EXE file with this one.

UQMP: Ultimate Quake Map Patcher

UQMP is a toolkit to enhance the original Quake maps. It enables transparent water in all the original Quake maps, disable buggy mirrors, fix texture naming problems, fix many bugs in the tables of entities of the maps, and add BSP waypoints for FrikBot X.

UQMP also comes with reVis, an utility made to recompile maps for transparent water.
